Anti-Money Laundering Requirements

The United Kingdom (U.K.) is a member country of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the European Union (E.U.). Laws and rules have been enacted in the U.K. to implement the anti-money laundering policies of Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and FATF. The goal of these laws is to detect and prevent money laundering and potential terrorist financing.

FirstForex powered by FTT global are firmly committed to participating in international efforts to combat money laundering and the funding of terrorist and criminal activities.

FTT global has its headquarters in the United Kingdom and is Authorised by FCA/PRA and registered with Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

FirstForex through FTT Global has implemented an anti-money laundering (AML) policy that is designed to comply with required HMRC anti-money laundering rules as a minimum standard as well as with all laws, regulations, and guidance relating to the prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing, and related financial crimes. These include written policies and procedures, a designated anti money laundering officer, regular training for relevant employees, and an independent audit to test all these implementations.

As part of its anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist compliance efforts, FirstForex powered by FTT Global takes steps to ensure that it complies with any and all embargo regulations applicable globally. As a result FTT Global maintains lists that are compiled on the basis of multiple sources, including the HM Treasury Asset Freezing Unit, the European Central Bank (ECB), and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

FirstForex Limited through FTT Global uses its best efforts to ensure compliance with these prohibitions and restrictions and to detect suspicious activities.

FirstForex Limited through FTT global operates technical systems and or manual monitoring systems to detect potential suspicious activities. Any such suspicious activities detected are reported to law enforcement in accordance with HMRC.

FTT Global have named Jessica Walters as their money laundering officer in their HMRC company registration document.

FirstForex through FTT Global maintains a system of customer due diligence (CDD) that is in line with HMRC notice MLR8 and that all such records are kept at least 5 years in accordance with HMRC recommendation.
