Guide to getting started
Opening an account with FirstForex is simple
Register
The quickest and easiest way is to complete the online registration and account opening form. There is no obligation or cost involved to register with us.Account manager
Once registered you will be contacted by your Personal Account Manager, they will introduce themselves and give you all their contact details as well as performing an identification check prior to the activation of the account. Your needs and requirements are unique so it is important for us to understand them fully, your account manager will be happy to explain the options available and advise you on the process needed to make your purchase and transfer as hassle free as possible.Currency purchase
When the time comes for you to purchase your currency, all you need to do is telephone your Personal Account Manager, who will advise you of the current exchange rate, if the rate is acceptable and you wish to proceed, he will book the currency trade for you. Exchange rates are very volatile, so it is important for you to realise that once your verbal instruction has been given to purchase the currency you have entered into a legally binding contract with us, with the exchange rate fixed it cannot be changed. Alternatively you can opt to trade on the FTT Global Trading platform which will take a call to us to arrange. We will discuss all details at that time.Trade confirmation
A confirmation deal ticket will be produced which will be sent to you by E-mail. This confirmation receipt will give you details of how to make payment to FTT global and if you have not previously given to us your currency payment instructions, you will be able to do thisby email, your payment will need to be sent to FTT global before currency payments can be made.Money transfer
As long as we have received notification that your payment has cleared by the agreed date, FTT Global will forward the currency you purchased to the recipient from the instructions you provided. Your money should be with the recipient within 48 hours but sometimes this depends on which country it is being sent to..
